🍎 School Meal Benefits Information

Shelbyville Central Schools’ meal program is funded by the USDA. Some students may be automatically approved for free meals through Direct Certification if they receive SNAP, TANF, qualifying Medicaid, or are identified as homeless, migrant, foster, or a ward of the state. Families who qualify will be notified and do not need to apply.

Families are encouraged to complete a free/reduced meal application before the school year begins to avoid meal charges. Students not approved before the first day of school will be placed on paid status, and any charges before approval are the household’s responsibility.

Memories With Mom

We are so excited to invite you to our Memories with Mom event on Tuesday, April 28th, from 5:30–6:30 PM! Weather permitting, all of the fun will take place outside for moms to relax and enjoy special activities with their children. It’s always such a fun and memorable event!

Invitations were sent home, and we hope you can join us for this special evening. If you’re interested in helping make this event extra special, we would love your help!! Please contact Mrs. Deaton, our PTO President. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
