Good afternoon Coulston Families, this is Mrs. Terrell the new Coulston Principal with a few registration reminders. Online registration for the 2022-23 school year begins tomorrow, July 18th. You can register your child online at www.shelbycs.org. The website will give you access to register your child. Help sessions will also be available at Coulston on July 18th from 10:00-12:30 P.M. and 5:00-7:00 P.M., and July 19th from 10:00-12:30. For these help sessions, please enter the flagpole doors. FREE COVID home test kits (4 tests per box) will be given to families whose children attend Shelbyville Central Schools. Date: May 31st Time: 3:00pm-6:00pm Location: Loper Elementary- drive up and pick up One kit per household. Parent/Guardian name and student name required **The test kits will be available while supplies last. If test kits remain after May 31st, an additional date/time will be scheduled. **

TRACK PRACTICE CANCELED TODAY WEDNESDAY APRIL 13TH Coulston Elmentarys track teams practice will be cancelled for today, Wednesday April 13th. This practice time will be rescheduled and that will be shared as soon as it is available. Please contact the Coulston Front Office (317-398-3185) if there is a change from the normal Wednesday transportation method for your student(s) that we need to share with student(s). We apologize for any inconvenience this change causes.

The CDC has lifted the mask mandate on school buses effective immediately. Therefore masks are no longer required on Shelbyville Central Schools buses. Thank you.

The School Board for Shelbyville Central Schools met at noon today, and voted to end the mask mandate and COVID protocols related to contact tracing and close contacts effective immediately based on new guidance from the Indiana Department of Health. SCS will follow the quarantine protocols for people that test positive, monitor attendance daily and report any unusual spikes in absences to the Shelby County Health Department. We will continue to comply with the federal mask mandate on buses.

Shelbyville Central Schools will be operating on an e-learning day today, Feb 18,2021 due to flooding and icy road conditions.

We're celebrating COULSTON LOVES TO READ WEEK! Each day we're dropping everything and reading! We're also having guest readers come and read to the students!

Coulston Loves to Read Week! February 14-18th Students, join our Coulston family as we celebrate reading and literacy together! We will have fun activities and celebrations throughout the week to share our love for reading. To make each day extra special, we will have spirit days each day. Dress Up and Have Fun With Reading! Monday - We love reading (pink/red/hearts) Tuesday - Tip Your Hat to Reading (hat day) Wednesday - Read My Shirt Day (shirts with words) Thursday - Round Up with Reading (dress in your Western wear) Friday - We READ all week (Friday - wear red)
